eLearning is simply delivering training on a computer, either using a CD-ROM or the web. eLearning can be a simple, interactive web page that provides product training to a complex simulation that trains users to operate a complicated piece of machinery. Tothweb has several year's experience developing varied eLearning projects for many different organizations.

We have built:

• Complex, multi modular training on technology and technical terminology, delivered via the web
• Simple product training courses, combining traditional course materials with a web interface

An element of the eLearning experience is the tracking and storage of data generated by the student as they progress through the training. Tothweb has tied training courses to a variety of databases including SQL, MySQL and Access. These databases are then queried to produce valuable data about student progress and can be used for a variety of managerial and administrative purposes.

Very complex eLearning projects can take 2-3 months to complete, but projects that do not require a high level of tracking and data storage can be completed in the same time-frame as a traditional web page.
